Call for Minisymposia (Closed)
All conference participants are encouraged to submit proposals for minisymposia sessions. Proposals for minisymposia must include:
- a title that suits the scope of the minisymposium,
- an abstract about the scope of the minisymposium (max. 2,000 characters, including whitespaces and LaTeX code), and
- a tentative list of invited speakers (min. 6 speakers).
Each participant can only be co-organizer of at most one minisymposium, and each participant is limited to present at most one talk in the conference, with the exceptions of plenary speakers, who may present up to two talks (including the plenary) and the participants in the educational minisymposium organized by the ILAS Education Committee, who may present up to two talks (including the educational one).
Late submissions of minisymposium proposal may be sent via email to ilas2026@math.vt.edu until December 31, 2025.
Call for Abstracts (Deadline January 31, 2026)
For all conference contributions such as contributed talks and minisymposia talks, the following information must be submitted using the conference system:
- a title for the talk,
- an abstract about the content of the talk (max. 2,000 characters, including whitespaces and LaTeX code),
- a list of authors for the contribution,
- the speaker who will present the contribution at the conference, and
- a conference track which fits the contribution such as a minisymposium (see here for the list of minisymposia sessions) or the contributed talks track.
Each participant is limited to present at most one talk in the conference, with the exceptions of plenary speakers, who may present up to two talks (including the plenary) and the participants in the educational minisymposium organized by the ILAS Education Committee, who may present up to two talks (including the educational one).
