Registration Information
All participants are required to register for the conference. Early bird discounts for different categories are offered for people who register before February 28, 2026. After that, only regular prices for ILAS Student Members, ILAS Members and Non-Members are available. The registration closes April 30, 2026.
If you choose any of the ILAS member categories (including students and early career), you have to obtain your ILAS membership before February 28, 2026. ILAS student memberships are free and early career memberships are only $20 per year. See https://ilasic.org/join-ilas/ for more details and the membership link.
Participants are elligible for the early career discount, if they received their doctoral degree at most 5 years before the conference dates.

Refund Policy
Registration fees will be fully refunded (less a $30 administrative fee) for written requests received on or before May 3, 2026.
Cancelation requests received between May 4, 2026 and May 17, 2026 will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation requests should be sent by email or by initiating a drop request through the student portal in our online registration system. As an alternative to a refund, you may send a substitute at no additional cost. Please contact us at +1 (540) 231-5182 or e-mail cpeinfo@vt.edu to request a substitution. Please note that refunds will not be issued for no-shows or for cancellations received on or after the program start date. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, Virginia Tech will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations. Childcare Support Grants
ILAS offers $750 childcare grants to support conference attendees. For more details and application instructions, see https://ilasic.org/childcare-grants/
Applications are due March 18, 2026.
Early Career Support
ILAS will award:
- 6 grants of $1000 each for early-career attendees presenting in a minisymposium (preferred) or contributed talk, from any home institution;
- 12 grants of $750 each primarily for students (but others may apply) from developing countries.
ILAS members from developing countries may also use this form to petition to receive the "early career" registration rate.
For purposes of this application process:
- "early career" means current students and those who received their PhD since January 1, 2021 (five years ago).
- "developing countries" are specified on the list used by the American Mathematical Society.
The application deadline was January 31, 2026.
Applicants will be notified of the outcomes by February 15, 2026, well in advance of the "early bird" registration deadline of February 28, 2026. The monetary awards will be sent to the recipients directly by ILAS.
